The Miners’ Journal began publication in May 2008 as a way to keep local citizens informed about the community in which they live. The Borough of Minersville provides this communication tool at no cost to borough residents and through the U.S. Postal Service delivers approximately 2700+ copies to each borough household. (A minimal subscription fee is requested for delivery to addresses beyond borough limits.)
Any local not-for-profit club, group, or civic organization is welcomed and encouraged to submit information to be included in the quarterly publication. Submissions should be received at least three weeks prior to the publication date. Comments, suggestions, or subscription requests can be made to: minersnewsletter@hotmail.com or by calling the borough office 570-544-2149.
